Smuggler Class Swtor Guide
The smuggler in swtor is basically the rouge class of the game, It focuses on stealth and surprise attacks although saying this it has considerable blaster skills and can wield two blaster pistols at the same time. The swtor smuggler tries to avoid fighting outright but when they need to fight they can be very powerful. Defence is not a strong point of the smuggler and they are considered to be very weak when it comes to armour but for what they do not have in armour they gain in speed allowing them to dodge a lot more attacks than say a republic trooper.
The smuggler like most rogues from any online game will most likely have trap skills and the normal backstabbing skills as well being masters at using critical attacks on their foes. It goes without saying that the rouge may not be the best solo class in swtor due to their weak defense and lack of armour but their stealthy skills with certainly be very useful in any group that are doing missions. One of the best things about playing a rogue is the fact that you are going to be able to get to area’s that most classes in swtor will not be able to get to.
The swtor smuggler is also going to be a master of speech craft and this will mostly benefit the player when it comes to trading and buying equipment no other swtor class with get better prices and deals than the smuggler, Looting items will also be worth more in the hands of a rogue because they can barter better than any other class in swtor. Also the smuggler seems to be the class in swtor that will use pets to help them defeat they enemies. - Flash Grenade* -AI: Costs about 40% Energy. Instant. Ranged. 20sec Cooldown. AoE 8sec stun, breaks on damage, deals no damage. Gameplay1
- Headshot* -AI: Doesn’t cost / Energy. Instant. Long Ranged. 10sec Cooldown. Can only be used on a stunned target.(This includes working off of Flash Grenade.). High damaging attack. Gameplay1

- Groin Kick* -AI: Costs about 25% Energy. Instant. Short Ranged. 12sec Cooldown. 6sec Stun and deals damage.; also known as “Dirty Kick” Gameplay1
In Cover only:
- Cover Shot* -AI: Costs about 5% Energy. Instant. Long Ranged. No Cooldown. Damaging attack(Same as “Shoot” but you’re doing it from Cover.). Gameplay1
- Triple Power Shot* -AI: Costs about 60% Energy. Instant. Long Ranged. No Cooldown. Fires 3 Large Blasts, each blast doing separate damage, and the first blast knocks down enemy for 2sec; also known as “Charged Burst” Gameplay1
