Swtor Trooper Advanced Classes

We spoke a while ago about the Swtor Trooper now it is time to take a look at the Swtor Trooper Advanced Classes. The Swtor Trooper is a going to play a important role in Swtor groups. Every Republic party will be in need of the services of a Trooper especially in Warzones. The Troopers will be responsible for taking the damage away from the lighter armoured classes. Although Troopers main responsible appears to be tanking damage, They are also very capable of dealing great damage to their enemies. This is due to the size and powerful of the weaponry that a Republic Trooper uses.

The First advanced Trooper class we are going to look at is the Vanguard. Vanguards are the more defensive class of the Trooper, They wear heavy battle armour and have great tactics for staying alive when taking lots of damage. Their skills will be focused more towards taking tons of damage and defending their allies. The Vanguards will also process the better party buffs for keeping him and his party alive during quests warzones etc. If you want to play a class that everyone is going to need and will be a lot of fun then a Vanguard should be considered. Due to their defensive nature they will play a key role in every big event.

Now we are going to look briefly at the Commando which is the second advanced class of the Swtor Trooper. The Commando is the more aggressive Trooper class and will be capable of unleashing massive amounts of fire on its enemies. Wielding massive blaster cannons the Commando can give out a large amount of constant damage and is looking to be one of the best DPS classes in Swtor. If course if any Trooper gets in too close to a melee using class they will be at a disadvantage but at range there is none better than the Commando for causing devastating damage. The Commando will also have party buffs like every Trooper does, But this buffs will be more focused on attack and will give the Commandos party extra power to destroy their enemies.

With the powerful and useful nature of the Swtor Trooper I am sure many Swtor players will be re-considering playing the Jedi or Sith they was planning on playing and taking on the role of a Trooper a real team players class.

Swtor Guide – Smuggler Advanced Classes Revealed

Bioware recently gave everyone a inside look at the Smuggler’s advanced classes. Right now less than 10% of gamers that are looking to play Swtor are planning to play Smugglers. We are wondering if these new Smuggler advanced classes will change the minds of those looking at playing other classes.

It is no surprise that the majority of players are going to play Jedi’s Or Sith classes. Because lets face it every one wants to use a lightsaber. But for those players that do not wish to play Jedi’s, Something needs to be there to make it worth there while.

Lets take a closer look at the Swtor Smugglers advanced classes and get a overview of what players will get from playing one.

The Swtor  Smuggler is one of the Rogue like classes in Swtor along with the imperial agent so we can all guess that at least one of the advanced classes is going to be a stealthy class. The Smuggler’s advanced classes are The Gunslinger and The Scoundrel.

Lets take a look at the Gunslinger first since this the more fighting class of the Swtor Smuggler. The Gunslinger is all about using his two blaster pistols to weaken his enemy. So you can imagine that Gunslinger’s will play a part in party play in Swtor. Such skills of the Gunslinger will include a slowing debuff to slow his enemies and a blinding debuff to lower the accuracy of his opponent. Of the two Smuggler classes the Gunslinger should boast the highest damage.

Now we can to the Scoundrel. This is the sneaky version of the Smuggler that relies on stealth to get by. Generally the Scoundrel does not wield two blaster pistols but instead uses one with the option of a scattergun for when his sneaky antics final. One addition that the Scoundrel has that no other known class does is a Stealth Belt allowing him to go invisible.

I would personally go for the Gunslinger but it is a hard choice since both sound like great classes that will be a lot of fun to play. There is also one known associate of the Smuggler. A Wookie called Bowdaar, Who is a warrior Wookie as hard as nails. Bowdaar a arena fighter that has never lost is said to be un-killable so I would say he will provide the needed backup and Tank for the Swtor Smuggler.

Swtor Advanced Classes And Specializations

To keep it interesting the team over at Bioware have released some information on how they plan to make the classes in Swtor deeper with two specializations for each class, The only ones to be announced of this time are for the Sith Warrior these would include the Juggernaut and the Marauder. I will go into a bit more detail about these two advanced Sith Warrior classes later but for now I wanted to talk more about why they have allowed each class to have two skill trees and two advanced classes.

The most obvious reason of cause is that you can customize your character in Swtor to how you want to play it and all classes will have many different versions and abilities, Rather than just having the same skills as every other player that is playing your class you will be giving the chance to mix it up a bit and maybe surprise some people. Although you can only choose one of the two advanced classes for your character each advanced class has 3 sets of skills which you can play with to allow for more customization.

Two of these skill sets are totally unique to the advanced class that you have choose and the third set is known as a shared set, This third set basically allows you to improve on the skills from your core class which lets face it a lot of people will not bother doing since you have a limited number of points to spend on your class and can not get every skill that there is on offer. Knowing that you can not have every skill for your class and advanced class means that spending your points should be a process that is done after much thinking. At this time I am not sure if they plan to implement a class reset button, So you can reset all your skills and get a new set. advanceclass1 189x300 Swtor Advanced Classes And Specializations

As I stated before the main reason for having so many skill sets is to allow players to customize their characters 100% to their play style it will also leave a lot open to trial and error since some combinations of skills for certain classes will either be great or shockingly bad.

From what has been announced the Sith Warrior has two advanced classes these include the Juggernaut and the Marauder. The Juggernaut is basically what it sounds like a tank capable of taking tons of damage while using support buffs to help benefit their group. They can even drain energy from their enemies to stay at full strength.

The Marauder is the complete opposite it would seem and are pretty much damage dealers that boast amazing DPS. The Marauder seems to have some skills that would normally be found on a rouge, these include targeting areas that do the most damage to their opponents like critical attacks.  What I do find interesting is that with all this attacking prowess they seem to have nothing in the way of defense, So I expect the Marauder to pretty much be a glass cannon but providing a friendly Sith Juggernaut is doing their job taking all the damage this should not be a issue for the Marauder.

We will keep you updated when we know more of advanced classes in Swtor, What can be said is that Bioware are going a long way to make the skill system excellent and to really allow players to customize their classes extactly to how they would like to play them.

You get your advanced class at level 10
