Swtor Guide And Swtor Builds That Work!

Swtor has been out for a little over a month now, And I am sure that many of you will have tried a few different swtor builds for your character hoping to find one that suits you and what you want your character to do. The truth is not every build works that well…

There is a difference between builds which are good for PvE or swtor builds which are good for PvP and with the recent swtor patch 1.1 some of the older builds which worked very well are now not so effective. Some classes was not affected but some were. If you are looking for the best builds for your class then you should check out Swtor Savior, They have found and created some of the best Swtor builds I have seen and used.

Those of you that have been reading my blog know that I play a Jedi Guardian and I would like to share the build I use for PvP. One thing I do which most guardians do not is change form mid fight. From Shi Co to Soreu which is the tanking form.

Here is the build:

pvpbuild Swtor Guide And Swtor Builds That Work!

As you can see this is a focus build. This is a DPS guardian build for PvP although you will be using your tanking form a fair amount to keep yourself alive.

The main idea of this build is to build Singularity by using Force Stasis or Force Exhaustion then using Force Leap or Zealous Leap to get Felling Blow. When you have Felling Blow and 4 stacks of Singularity your force sweep will do a lot of damage.

This build will work with the Sith Warrior also if you spec up the rage tree. You can also do a build very close to this on a Marauder and a Sentinal because Focus/Rage is the shared tree for JK/SW.

This build works very well in PvP and is still effective after the lastest patch. If you are looking for more great swtor builds then I recommend Swtor Savior, they have excellent builds for all classes and for all roles. Swtor Savior also contains a Leveling and Credit/Craft Guide which are top quality.

New Swtor Leveling Guide – Swtor Savior Released

Its only one day away from the start of early access now and I can imagine that all Swtor fans including me are stocking up on the energy drinks to see them though the first 24 hours of Swtor.

But as promised there is a new Swtor Guide to help you level faster. I know that many of you will want to level at your own pace and that is great but for the hardcore gamers Swtor Savior has been released and is looking like the most promising Swtor Leveling Guide out right now.

Early Expectations Of Swtor Savior

During my years of playing mmorpgs and blogging about them I have seen many guides for just about every mmorpg and I have read other guides from the creators of Swtor Savior, And they have always been good and informative. I can imagine that Swtor Savior should be up to the same quality of other guides created by the author. As of right now this Swtor Levelling guide is the one to own.

Of course I will be checking out Swtor Savior and doing a full review of the guide when I have been though all the content that they have to offer Swtor players. So you can either check out Swtor Savior or wait for the full review from me because I can assure you it will be a honest one. If you are looking for a Swtor credit guide then I recommend Wealthy Hutts, Here is my Wealthy Hutts Review

If you already own Swtor Savior then please use the contact form at the top of the page to tell me what you think of this Swtor Guide. I would love to know what you think before I review the guide. Hopefully my early access will start tomorrow so I can put Swtor Savior to the test properly before my review.

Swtor Crafting Guide Video From SwtorFace.com

The guys over at Swtorface have released a excellent video showing you exactly how to craft in Swtor and also how to get your companions to craft for you and gather materials. Its well worth a watch for anyone that is interested in crafting in Swtor.

Watch it below:

As you can see crafting in Swtor is excellent, I really like the crew skills system since you can send your NPC shipmates away to do chores that would maybe bore most players. Also being able to stack up your companions missions for when your asleep is a feature that I was very excited about.

I’m sure you also see that you have the option to reverse engineer anything you create to improve your crafting skill. You can also discover new schematics from doing this so it is really worth you time doing if you are planning to be a big crafter in Swtor. The only downside to using you crew members around the clock is the fact that sending them on missions to gather resources costs credits. Of course once you work out a system to profit from these missions you will no longer need to worry about that.

Sending your Swtor companions on missions will also increase your reputation with that crew member and they can also find rewards such as credits, valuable items and companion gifts which you can give to your companions to open up side quests and romance plots.

Here at Swtor Guide I’m going to go into companions and companion gifts real soon and let you guys know how you can benefit from using companions, Not only can you get them to do a lot of work for you but they can also reward you with a lot of exp from their side quests. A lot of these side quests are only dialog conversations so you can get exp for doing nothing really. So stay tuned for that within the coming days.

Swtor Races Update

We are close to the Swtor launch and even closer to early access for those of you that have pre-ordered the game, And lets be honest who has’nt. But for people that still have not played the game in Beta I wanted to do a Swtor Races Update. You may remember my earlier post Swtor Playable Races. This was way back in August 2010 and I just wanted to do a more updated version for people that are still wondering what races are playable in Swtor.150px ZabrakRace Swtor Races Update

Due to my recent access to beta Swtor I can now give accurate information, At the time of the last post the playable Swtor races was all speculation and hype being built up by varying sources. For those of you that read that post back in August last year you will see that I was not far off.

Confirmed Swtor Races

  • Human
  • Zabrak
  • Chiss
  • Cyborg
  • Twi’lek
  • Miraluka
  • Mirialan
  • Rattataki
  • Sith Pure Blood

Unfortunately other races such as Wookies will not be playable in Swtor, Which is a real shame since many people would of liked to see Wookies in Swtor as playable characters.

Swtor Race And Class Restrictions

Also as expected some races are only available for certain classes. I know for many of you this may be an issue and we can only hope that Bioware decide to open up more races and turn away from class restriction. Of course this has to be within reason, Can’t have a Sith Pure Blood Jedi now can we.

Swtor Classes And Playable Races:

  • Jedi Knight – Human, Twi’lek, Zabrak, Miraluka and Mirialan
  • Jedi Consular – Human, Twi’lek, Zabrak, Miraluka and Mirialan
  • Smuggler – Human, Twi’lek, Zabrak, Mirialan, Cyborg
  • Trooper – Human, Cyborg, Zabrak and Mirialan
  • Bounty Hunter – Chiss, Cyborg, Human, Zabrak and Rattitaki
  • Imperial Agent – Chiss, Cyborg, Human, Zabrak and Rattitaki
  • Sith Warrior – Human, Zabrak, Cyborg and Sith Pure blood
  • Sith Inquisitor – Human, Rattataki, Zabrak, Sith Pure Blood and Twi’lek

As you can see there is a fair amount of playable races per class in Swtor but it is a real shame not to see Duros and Wookies since those two races are both big Starwars races in my opinion.

Swtor Guide – Sith Inquisitor Class Progression

Last Friday Bioware released what is believe to be the last friday update, This update was about the Sith Inquisitor’s Class Progression, They also released a very nice video which you can view below if you have not already seen it. I’m sure that most of you see the Friday update on Swtor.com but for those of you that did not here is the video of the Sith Inquisitors class progression.

The last Swtor Friday Update…

Unfortunately this was the last Friday update that Bioware will be releasing for us but it is not a bad thing since Swtor itself will be replacing that excitement. No more waiting around on Fridays for big announcements about Swtor, We will also finally get to play the game by next Friday.

Of course Bioware do not want to stop the updates about the game there and instead of Friday updates they will be posting all new updates on their blog, which can be seen at the new Swtor Blog.

The new Swtor blog will not only be updated on Fridays, It will be updated with anything that the staff at Swtor have something important to tell the community. So that means that it can be updated anytime. The first few posts on the new blog are going to be re-posts from important issues discussed on the forums which you may have missed.

With news like this I know it very much feels like the end since we have all been doing the same stuff every friday, But the truth is it is only the beginning.

As always thanks for reading and may the force be with you.
